This section describes how to use Slim Multimedia Keyboard setting program. Once the software installation for
Slim Multimedia Keyboard is
complete, the icon The On-Screen Slim Multimedia contains 16 buttons, each has a predefined function. When floating on the screen, there are two kinds of appearance of On-Screen Slim Multimedia. When floating on the top bottom or center, On-Screen Slim Multimedia displays as below:
When floating on the right or on the left, On-Screen Slim Multimedia displays as below : As the windows limitations, some functions of On-Screen Slim Multimedia can't be active by left-clicking on the mouse. For the functions that you can activate by left-clicking on mouse, the On-Screen Slim Multimedia will show different colors. Mouse over Mouse down
Right clicking elsewhere on the On-Screen Slim Multimedia , will bring up the following menu.
The Slim Multimedia Keyboard allows you to define your own hotkey. There are a number of ways to redefine a hotkey. Either choose from predefined functions or create a shortcut .
Shortcut can be used to launch commonly used applications such as MS-Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Type in the path and name of the executable file in the box provided or use the Browse button to search for it. Press Apply to confirm it and press OK to exit this dialog.
Startup Settings Check this box if you wish to launch the On-Screen Slim Multimedia when Slim Multimedia Keyboard start. On Screen Status Display Settings The On-Screen Status Display (OSD) informs you of what function is being performed when a hotkey or On-Screen Slim Multimedia button is pressed. This is only displayed when a hotkey has been pressed. It appears at the left bottom of the screen for 0.5 second default timeout.
